One of the largest fish producers enterprises of Lithuania - Joint-Stock Company "Edega" has begun the activity in 1996. At first in firm worked about 10 people, assortment developed production is not be as greater. Today in the enterprise work about 130 workers, in produce make use only the newest technologies, conformable to strict requirements of the European Union.

   The assortment of the enterprise makes above 60 names of products. In a year it is processed about 1000 tons of a fish. Joint-Stock Company "Edega" specializes in culinary products from a herring and a fillet of a herring, and as special taste products from Baltic sprats and a Baltic herring. This products are especial both the appearance, and flavouring properties. In fact the fish, catch in the Baltic sea, gets in manufacture not frozen, fresh, that keeps all food substances, characteristic for a fresh fish, and are necessary for a human body. It means what to use the products made by Joint-Stock Company "Edega", not only is tasty, but also good for HEALTH!

   In 2004 the enterprise was get the international export permit and the veterinary number, resolving to our firm to export production to the countries of the European Union. The most part of our production exporting to the countries of EU.
